Well, it's officially official. We just locked our first homes' door for the last time. Rather bittersweet. There were things I loved and hated about that house, but it was where we brought Hayden home and where we spent four years of our five year marriage. I loved the space; hated cleaning 2200 sq. ft. Loved that Hayden could ride his bikes inside; hated the white carpet. Loved the yard to play and entertain in; hated keeping it cut 10 out of 12 months (that's what it felt like!). It's sad but exciting to say goodbye. I knew one house growing up. Hayden won't be that way but it's cool. Here's to new adventures in Vancouver!

It will be great having y'all up here!! I remember one time a wise woman told me about how hard it was to leave the place where you brought your baby home. We have now lived 2 different places. I wouldn't have it any other way, but we'll all still have a soft spot for where we brought our Emma and Ty home to in Birmingham!! Totally understand how you feel!
On another note, Emma would love to have you hit the ball with her. I am NO GOOD at it! Thankfully her dad can coach her! We have several people that have been coming to our church that LOVE volleyball. We're thinking of having a volleyball night. If we do and y'all are here, I'll let you know, we'd love to have you!
It's always hard to move on. We had home births and it was really hard for me to move!
