Tooter McGee

Okay, so my kid is definitely part-Holloway. I've never met a newborn who could poot more. My husband is going to kill me for this post. But I'm serious. Hayden is some kind of gassy. The last 3 days have been awful. We've done gas drops, we've rocked, we've walked, we've patted, we've done everything. Poor little guy. He's just working and working to get it out of his system. He's also been exceptionally hungry. I feel like a human milk cow. I know this is my job right now, but man, if it doesn't take all day to feed the little guy. If he's awake, he's hungry. But it's completely worth it, I just have to remind myself of that. Over and over and over and...

Have you tried laying him on his tummy across your lap and gently bouncing him? My mom swears by this method to relieve gas pain and it worked wonders for Mattie Leigh. In fact, she loves the gentle motion so much that she still chooses to go to sleep that way most nights. She was horribly gassy the first few months and that really helped us.

Abby is a bottomless pit too. Certain things I eat make Abby gassier. You could always try food journaling everything you eat and see if there is any connection. All in all, babies are gassy. Abby has let out the loudest toots while Bryan has been preaching. Babies are comic relief in the cutest packages.

Sorry he's having tummy troubles... But this is definitely info for the inappropriate baby book! Other than the gas problem, how's he doing? And how are y'all??
